The reformer-bed problem nobody talks about
If you have ever run a reformer studio, you know this conversation: a regular member arrives, asks "can I take bed 3 today?" because that's the one near the window, the bed they always use. The instructor checks the roster — bed 3 is already taken by someone else. The regular is mildly annoyed. They book elsewhere next week.
Most studio software does not assign beds at booking. It just allocates a class slot and figures out the bed when people walk in. For walk-ins this works. For your highest-LTV regulars who care which bed they get, it leaks loyalty over time.
GymViz lets you turn on bed assignment if you want it. Members see a layout (top-down view of the studio with each reformer numbered), pick their preferred bed, and the booking is locked. Premium beds (window, corner, near-the-mirror) can be priced separately for an upcharge. Regulars get the bed they love. The studio captures the upside.
